Description: Depicts four men standing under the verndah at the front of Allen's store. The building is a large corrugated iron structure with an ornamental blockware front and comparted windows. In MS pencil on back P.R. Allen & Co. Store Palmerston destroyed by cyclone .
Notes: Photographs collected by Jerome J. Murif on his overland trip from Adelaide to Darwin, published as 'From Ocean to Ocean' 1897.
