Description: First plane to fly from south to north. Flown by pilot Capt. Henry Wrigley and Sgt. Arthur Murphy. Aircraft is a BE2e, B-6183. Shows biplane with crowd nearby. Wrigley flew the plane to Darwin as part of the preparation for the London to Australia Air Race 1919. When it landed at Alexandria in December 1919 it was the first plane to land in the Territory. This photo taken in Darwin?
