Description: "First plane to fly from south to north, pilot was Capt. Henry Wrigley. B 6183". This aircraft was flown north by Henry Wrigley and Sgt. Arthur Murphy as part of the preparations for the arrival in Darwin of entrants in England to Australia air race, 1919. When it landed at Alexandria station in early December 1919 it was the first aircraft to land in the Territory. Aircraft is a BE2e.
