Biographical notes: Little information is known about Lily, who is believed to have been born in England in 1870; she married Henry Wilson, a railway ganger. In 1895, when Lily was 25, she was one of the 82 women who enrolled to vote after the franchise was granted to South Australian and Territory women in 1894. Her occupation was listed as "married woman" and she was living at the 10 mile railway area. The couple arrived in the Territory in about 1890; they did not have any children while living there and they left the Territory prior to the 1901 Census.
