The love of the Northern Territory spirit and the love for each another were constantly challenged after the impact of world wars, natural disasters, changing social values, which all strengthened and drew our many communities together. Many families, who helped to build and then rebuild, have left us a lasting tribute of love and optimism.

The Northern Territory Library's, 'Territory Stories' repository, houses the 'HistoryNT' collection, which plays a valuable role in documenting the unique social and cultural development of the Northern Territory since first settlement.
