| Description: | Back view of the cottage which stood in Mitchell Street next to the Police Paddock (later Police Barracks stood there). This was taken in the early 1920s. Harold Snells family lived there at the time. Later it was occupied by Charlie Clark (another builder). It was destroyed by the first bombs that fell in Mitchell Street at the time the Post Office was destroyed. Charlie Clark and an aborigine were present but escaped. |
