Description: Australian Womens’ Army Service ladies at the unveiling A.W.A.S plaque. Left to right: Pauline Priestley (Bartlett), Captain Eileen Gayton (Mooney), Norma Burns (Kelly), Lieut. Adjutant Mavis Leworthy, Nancy Hem, Dorothy Durack, Marie Furlong, Eileen Norris, Ruth Bartlett, Terry Dahlenburg - reporter for the NT News, Reena Rad (McDonald), Dorothy D'Alton and Dorothy Wilson. Mavis Leworthy entered nursing after her discharge, she delivered Norma's daughter at the Queen Victioria Hospital in Melbourne on 19 May 1952. She attained position of Director of Nursing at the Fremantle Hospital, before she passed away in December 1992 at Coodenup, WA.
