Description: Next stop was “Churchill’s Head” A rock whose formation was like Churchill & someone had put a stick in his mouth. Billie, “Swannie” and Norma Burns (nee Kelly). Our overnight stop was Banka Banka & another dance was held for us. Now Thursday 26th up at 4.30am & left Banka at 6am. elliott was our lunch stop. As Larrimah was the end of our Convoy trip all the main convoy was lined up along the road & as we passed by all the drivers had buckets of water which we had to dodge. I met up with Bill Watson whom I had been writing to.
